 Lee Conway is an Australian country singer. Brought up in Fitzroy, Melbourne, Australia. Born in Poland, Lee started playing guitar in his early teens. He joined local Melbourne band 'Bobby Cookson and The Premiers. Around the mid sixties this came to an end when Lee entered into the trucking business which was very successful. 

Lee was the manager of 'The Laurie Allen Revue' in the sixties giving the band major success especially in Adelaide, at the then popular 'Twenty Plus Club'.

In 1968 he was dared to get up and sing at the 20 PLus Club and from then on he has never looked back. His debut record was with the Adelaide record company 'Sweet Peach'  releasing 'Fine White Stallion'. In 1970 Lee supported Jerry Lee Lewis in Australia becoming friends and would later stay at the Lewis home in the U.S.A. in the years to follow.

He toured most cities in England with Slim Whitman and later spent time in the United States appearing on many television shows. Lee was awarded most promising singer at The London Palladium. Returning to Australia Lee was honored by 'The Federation of Broadcasters of Australia' for best album.

Lee has shared the bill with top line acts such as Rick Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Hank Snow, Loretta Lynn. He and Slim Dusty were the fist two country acts to perform before the Queen and Prince Phillip.
